Chevrei Tzedek is hosting a
Green Mitzvathon Shabbaton

Friday, May 2nd - Sunday, May 4th 2025
At the Myerberg Center (3101 Fallstaff Road, Baltimore, MD 21209)
Our Scholar in Residence is Rabbi Nina Beth Cardin, nationally recognized authority on Jewish environmentalism.
We will explore YISHUV OLAM--our covenant to care for the earth, raise awareness of our responsibilities as Jewish people to be good stewards of the environment, and engage participants in learning about actions they can take, both small and large, to commit to changing behaviors.
The Green Mitzvathon events will feature delicious food that is kosher and vegan. We will compost and recycle all our waste. Please bring your water bottle to refill from the water dispensers to reduce waste as much as possible.
Please consider carpooling to the event!
