What is included in membership dues?
- Clergy officiant for lifecycle events
- All High Holy Day services (including children up to age 26)
- Shabbat services
- Pastoral care
- Shabbat youth activities
- Classes and limudim (learning sessions)
- Weekly newsletter
- Voting at committee and community meetings
- Opportunities to lead and grow in ritual, spiritual, administrative, creative, and/or collaborative capacities
- Participation in a broad spectrum of Jewish practice and knowledge
- Belonging in a community where we show up for one another in times of joy and need
Chevrei Tzedek is led by Rabbi Marci Jacobs, and we are a very hands-on, lay-led community. Our members take on big and small roles that, in many synagogues, are done by professional staff.
Associate Membership at Chevrei Tzedek
If you are a member at another synagogue, we welcome you as an Associate Member at $360 per adult per year. Our Associate Memberships do NOT include High Holy Day tickets or voting rights. We do, however, offer full reciprocity if you are a member in good standing of another USCJ synagogue.
